We are pleased to announce that the Department of Molecular Microbiology at the Faculty of Biotechnology will soon host one of the scholarship awardees of the European Crystallographic Association.

Giovanna Barrionuevo Martins (Newcastle University), recipient of the prestigious ECA Scholarship 2026, will conduct advanced structural studies related to her PhD project in our department.

Her stay will take place under the supervision of Dr. Bernhard Kepplinger.
