Enamine’s chemistry and High-Throughput Screening services: a general overview
Enamine is a global provider of diverse small-molecule libraries, building blocks, and fragments, supporting a wide range of research programs conducted by pharmaceutical and biotech companies, drug discovery centers, academic institutions, and other research organizations worldwide. Enamine’s chemical resources include the world’s largest commercially available collection of screening compounds – over 4.5 million – and more than 300,000 building blocks, all sythesized in-house. From these molecules versatile libraries are composed, ranging in size from hundreds to half a million compounds. These include: diversity, covalent, molecular glues, targeted libraries (33 to date, e.g. targeting DNA, GPCR, coronavirus, antibacterial etc.), fragment, bioactive and focused libraries. Enamine’s virtual REAL database contains billions of compounds that can be synthesized on demand with an exceptionally high success rate. Leveraging these tools, Enamine’s Biology Division provides CRO (Contract Research Organization) services for early-stage drug discovery, including high-throughput screening (HTS), ADME/PK, and animal studies.
A newly established Polish entity- EnaminePL, focused on providing HTS cell based/biophysics services will be introduced and presented.
Being scientifically driven, Enamine actively participates in various industry- and academia-related projects and grant consortia, providing its resources and expertise for fundamental research collaborations.
